There is a lot of picnic and recreational points in DGKhan but the Points at which one can go with his/her family and can enjoy with them are very few. You will find information about some of these points below.

  Fort Munro

Located in the west of DGKhan at a journey of about 2 hours (70 Km approximately). It’s basically hilly area about 6500 ft high above the MSL (Mean sea Level). In between DGKhan and Fort Munro there is also a Tomb of a famous Saint named Sakhi Sarwer> People comes there from all over the Pakistan. Fort Munro name is based on the name of an English. Its a small city and its population is mainly consists of Balouchi People (Tribes Man). The people are good in nature and hosting and are very co-operative.  The Graves of English are still present there and if you want to see their graves then you can see it near the park in Fort Mineroo near the Commissioner House. In summer season the climate is usually cold and snow falls often in winter. It would be important to describe here that the Former President of Pakistan Mr. Farooq Khan Leghari relates to this region.

  Head Taunsa

Head Taunsa is basically barrage for irrigation purpose and lots of canals are linked from there to cultivate purpose. It is a picnic point and the most wonderful thing about this point is that in that river there is a specific type of Dolphins, which are known as Blind Dolphins. It is nearly 90 Km away from city of DGKhan.

  Head Panjnad

Head Punjnad is basically a point at which five rivers are getting connected. It is near about 160 Km away from DGKhan.
