  Government Degree College (For Boys):

 The college was established in 1962 and is known as the biggest college in the city where people from all over the division come and get their education here. The college was firstly serving only degree classes but now it is also offering Master programs in more than 12 different subjects affiliated with Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. The college has many vast education blocks and a big play ground for student’s recreational activities. The college is also providing hostel accommodation for the students from outside the city. The college is located near the canal colony.

  Government Degree College (For Girls):

 The girl’s college was founded in 1966 and in currently located near City Park. The college provides necessary accommodation for the girls out side of the city.

  Government Inter College (For Boy):

 The college was established in 1989, inaugurated by Mr.Zulifiqar Khosa (Late Governor Of Punjab). The college is no doubt very small but perhaps producing very good students due to lack of strikes and boycotts. The college building needs urgently maintenance. The college is not providing any type of accommodation hostel due to lack of funds.

  University Of Agriculture (Faisalabad Sub Campus):

 The university is newly built in 1998 and current it is affiliated to the University Of Agriculture, Faislabad. The university is still in rented building but their construction for the new campus is going in fast progress and soon they will be shifted to their new campus, which will be near Cement Factory Road. The university is located at Multan road 8 Km away from the city. Three major subjects of agriculture are offered there.

  Government College Of Commerce :

The College is located at railway road serving Bachelor Degree in Commerce.

  Government Institute Of Technology :

   The college is located on Quetta road and was established in 1990. The college is currently serving more than 9 Technologies. The college is also offering the hostal facility for the students and also a officers colony for the teaching staff.
